Browse A-Line (Most Popular Style)

There’s a reason why the A-Line silhouette is an Australian favourite.

It is narrow at the top and extends along the body into the shape of an ‘A’. This gradual flare can be used to disguise hips, buttocks, and legs. A-line dresses tend to be universally flattering and works for any body type or height.

Browse Ballgown

Look and feel like a princess with the ballgown silhouette’s full skirt and voluminous predisposition. This shape is perfect for minimising waistlines and disguising hips, buttocks and legs with its fitted bodice and full skirt.

This silhouette is also referred to as a princess silhouette.

Browse Mermaid

The mermaid wedding dress is a fitted, body-hugging gown that shapes over the line of your hips and thighs then subtly flares out below your knee.

In our opinion, this is the sexiest dress style of the bunch (this is the silhouette Kim Kardashian wore on her wedding day).

Browse Sheath

Also known as a Column, the sheath silhouette follows the shape of the body from top to bottom. This gown style is typically cut on the bias so the fabric falls directly to the figure. It tends to hug the bust, waist and hips, which helps add length to petite figures.

Browse Trumpet

Great for elongating your body in a form fitted dress, the trumpet silhouette (also known as a fit and flare silhouette) forms a trumpet flare at the knees from an a-line skirt and is slightly less contoured. Compared to a mermaid silhouette, trumpet gowns have a little bit more movement.

Unlike typical bridal boutiques found in Parramatta, Leichhardt, Paddington and Wetherill Park, we design our own custom bridal dresses. As such, we do not carry other labels such as Pronovias and Maggie Sottero. Ever since 2015, we have been working tirelessly to promote Emerald Bridal to Sydney brides for their special day.

We do, however, stock a small selection of Morilee gowns and are an exclusive stockist of Lillian West.

The majority of our ready-to-wear wedding dresses are priced between $1,500 and $3,000. We have a number of sample gowns that are on sale.

To ensure that your dress fits you perfectly, we recommend leaving a 6-month buffer. Whilst we can rush in certain orders, this will restrict the number of designs you may choose from.

Ideally, ordering a gown with 6 to 9 months to go gives you a comfortable window to make alterations if necessary.

We do! We have partnered with Alabaster The Label to provide your bridesmaids with gorgeous designs. Ask our stylists about them.

No. We do not charge a fee for appointments. We do, however, request that you arrive on time for your fitting.

As it will be unfair to make the next customer wait, we reserve the right to cut your fitting short to honour the original time appointment time. If you find yourself running late, please give us a call on (02) 9808 5535.

Since our bodies are all different, every bridal gown will require some form of alterations to ensure a perfect fit.

We do not offer an in-house alteration service but we can provide you with recommended seamstresses who are experienced with altering wedding dresses.

To avoid embarrassment, we’ve compiled a list of recommendations to help you with your dress fitting appointment:

  • Bring nude undergarments
  • Make a Pinterest board of your favourite designs – this can be super useful for our fitting expert to help you find your dream dress.
  • Don’t worry about bringing shoes as we have standing platform to help you see how the skirt falls.
  • Please remove makeup as this has the tendency to stain our sample gowns.
  • For hygiene reasons, please do not come after a gym session unless you have showered.

Bridal sizing is very different to normal clothing sizes. That is, wedding dresses tend to run smaller than your regular size.

We use the US standard sizing system and most gowns can be ordered in size 0 through 16. Our in-store sample  ranges from size 8 – 12.

We do not usually have plus size sample gowns in-store.

Each appointment runs for 60-minutes.
